  Merger aftermath

  a couple of months ago, i reported on my congregation being disolved and merged with another.. on sept 1, cong b merged with cong a using the same hall, thereafter using cong a's meeting times.

  also nearby cong c moved into the hall using cong b's meeting times and cong c's kh is being put up for sale.. i've since been to both sunday meetings and both midweek meetings.

  at all, the parking lot is totally full, cars have to park around the corner and on the street.

  i just finished looking through the circuit overseer manual, so here are some highlights.

  first up, regarding circuit assemblies:.

  if a brother is so extremely overweight that others would be distracted if he had a part on the program, good judgment would need to be used in deciding whether to give him an assignment.

  Discarding all that wonderful spiritual food at the proper time. Such a waste of nutritional nuggets.... What is the real reason behind getting rid of old publications?

  Few observations made at the RC

  once again the mention of jesus was or has been very little this truly is an old testament cult with some sprinkles of pauline writings to help them in their doctrines.

  i also noticed how mixed up the congregations are at this and probably other rcs.

  some of the local congregations are here near the rcs site but also ones almost 100 miles away as well , yet other local congregations are not scheduled at this time.

  a month ago i sent a letter to the us branch about 607. my purpose for sending it was because i wanted to show to my parents through the letters the truth behind the date system.

  two days ago, i received a response from them.

  i think this is gonna be the first of many.

  if you criticize a female, you are obviously sexist.

  if you criticize someone who happens to be gay, you must hate homosexuals.

  There was an incident in the news this last week about a white restaurant patron that got fed up with the loud, obnoxious behavior of two black women patrons. It escalated and she told them that they were acting like n*ggers.

  Yup, the n-word is verbotten for whites. Now the blacks, that's a different story. That can call each other n#gger all they want. I guess it's now their word and they sure make good use of it.
